In May 2025, BYD and Xiaoju Charging jointly launched the "Megawatt Flash Charging Ecological Co-construction" project, announcing the joint construction of 10,000 The first demonstration station has been laid in Nanchang, Jiangxi. BYD's megawatt flash charging technology relies on core innovations such as "intelligent boosting" and "dual-gun charging" to achieve "full-scene adaptation" - the single-gun charging speed is faster than the industry 45%, 70% faster in dual-gun mode, and compatible with existing public fast charging piles, solving the pain point of users' "charging piles". This cooperation integrates BYD's technology research and development capabilities with Xiaoju Charging's 8400 Cooperative merchants and 34 million user resources, marking the shift of the supercharging ecology from "single-point technology breakthrough" to "full-industry chain collaboration", and also bringing large-scale scenario verification needs to charging test companies.
Recently, the two major domestic industry giants officially announced a strategic cooperation to jointly launch the "10,000 supercharging stations" construction plan, marking a new stage in the construction of new energy vehicle charging networks.
According to the plan, the two sides will integrate their superior resources in the fields of energy infrastructure, digital technology and user services to complete the layout of the supercharging network covering major cities across the country within three years. These charging stations will use the latest supercharging technology to achieve the ultimate experience of "charging for 5 minutes and 300 kilometers of range" at the fastest.
It is worth noting that this cooperation places special emphasis on the concept of "ecological co-construction":
The platform interface will be opened to attract more partners to join
Establish a unified operation service standard system
Develop an intelligent dispatching system to improve the efficiency of grid coordination
Supporting the construction of rest areas, convenience stores and other convenient facilities Industry experts said that this cross-border cooperation model will effectively solve the pain points of the industry such as uneven distribution of charging facilities and inconsistent standards, and is expected to drive the upgrading of the entire industrial chain and provide important infrastructure guarantee for the popularization of new energy vehicles.
At present, the first batch of demonstration sites have started construction in core areas such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and will also build a full-scenario charging service system of "city + intercity" along the highway network in the future.
